Top 5 Pound-for-Pound

1) Georges. "Rush" St. Pierre
He may not be the most exciting fighter, regardless St. Pierre has shown his dominance by controlling all of his opponents with his  hight level wrestling abilities. His next fight is a rematch with Josh Koscheck in Montreal, GSP will look to repeat his UFC 74 performance with  a victory and earn his 5th title defence.

2) Anderson "The Spider" Silva
Silva clearly had trouble dealing with the wrestling of his opponent in his last match against Chael Sonnen. Anderson had an apparent rib injury but a come from behind triangle choke victory keeps Silva near the top of this list. "The Spider" will rematch Sonnen sometime in early 2011 and the fight should prove who the top middleweight in the world truly is.

3) Jose "Junior" Aldo
Aldo is a powerful striker and skilled jiu-jitsu artist, his skill pose a problem for anyone in the featherweight division. Dominate victories over Mike Brown and Urijah Faber have shown Aldo to be the number one featherweight in the world. His next match comes again Ultimate Fighter alumni Manny Gamburyan, if Aldo continues to dominate a move to the UFC lightweight division is all but immanent.

4) Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
Proving he is one of the most well-rounded fighters in the world, Shogun has reclaimed the title of top light heavyweight in the world after winning the title with a brutal knockout of Lyoto Machida in  May. While he has had mixed results since joining the UFC in 2007, Rua looks to come back from another knee surgery and defeat Rashad Evans for his first title defence.

5) Frankie "The Answer" Edgar
Frankie Edgar proved all the doubters wrong once again after a one sided beating of BJ Penn in their title rematch at UFC 118 in Boston. Edgar will have the chance to avenge his only career loss against Gray Maynard in his next fight, and will look to move himself further up the list with a victory.
